- SECTIONS
There are five sections in EVDRE: MAINTENANCE, MANUFACTURING, CABLE,
LNKMS, LNKSS and BURST. Another section, 'LINK' is still valid, but
only prints a message to use either 'LNKMS' or 'LNKSS' sections.
- MAINTENANCE
This is the DEFAULT SECTION of the test.
This section requires no operator intervention and will
impliment Tests 1-27.
- MANUFACTURING
The MANUFACTURING SECTION contains those sections that may be run
without operator intervention. This section implements Tests 1 - 28.
Test 28 requires the use of a BC05L turnaround cable or equivalent.
Switch Pack 105 should be set as follows:
SW1=OFF
SW2=ON
SW3=OFF
SW4=OFF
SW5=ON
- CABLE
This Test requires the use of a BC05L turnaround cable or equivalent.
Switch Pack 105 should be set as follows:
This section implements Test 28.
SW1=OFF
SW2=ON
SW3=OFF
SW4=OFF
SW5=ON
- LNKMS
This SECTION starts the CPU selected as MASTER. The TRACE FLAG
must be cleared before starting this section. If the opposite
end of the link is a PDP11 running CZDRKA, then a large pass count
should be specified when this program is started
(START/SECTION:LNKMS/PASS:0). This section implements Tests
1, 6, 11, 14, 29 and 30.
- LNKSS
This SECTION starts the CPU selected as SLAVE. The TRACE FLAG
must be cleared before starting this SECTION. If the opposite
end of the link is a PDP11 running CZDRKA, then a large pass count
should be specified when this program is STARTed
(START/SECTION:LNKSS/PASS:0). This SECTION implements Tests
1, 6, 11, 14, 30 and 31.
- BURST
This SECTION is used to calibrate the BURST DATA LATE to the
customer's specifications. When run, it will give an intro-
ductory message detailing what pins the scope leads are to be
attached to and which pot to adjust. It is to be noted that
typing ANY key on the terminal will instruct the routine to
advance to the next DR11 attached. When the last board has
been adjusted, and a key is hit, the diagnostic will abort.
NO END-OF-PASS WILL PRINT. You can also type CONTROL_C (^C)
at any time, and the diagnostic will abort.
- QUICK
The QUICK feature is not implemented in this diagnostic. The diagnostic
execution time is less then one minute for an error free pass.
- SUMMARY
No SUMMARY report is issued by this program.
