- HELP
EVDBB exercises the DMC's ability to send and receive messages providing
a "Go/No Go" test capability of the DMC'S ability to operate. It provides
for internal loopback of data or it can use a cable turnaround connector.
(H325 with M8201 Line Unit or 12-12528 Coaxial cable test connector with
M8202 Line Unit.) If the program runs with external loopback and fails
with internal loopback it may be do to a broken 20KHZ clock on the Line
Unit module which is used for internal loopback only. It will test multiple
units in a sequential manner (all tests on one DMC before beginning tests
on next unit). "DMC" means both a microprocessor module and a line unit
module.

THE PROGRAM IS NOW RUNNING.
- SECTIONS
This program consists of two tests:
FLAG DRIVEN TEST
This test initializes the DMC, transmits and receives one 100 byte
message using internal loopback or cable turnaround, data is checked
and the DMC is shutdown.
INTERRUPT DRIVEN TEST
With interrupts enabled the DMC is initialized, receive buffers
are queued, different transmit buffers are queued, data is checked,
and the DMC is shutdown.
- DEVICE
EVDBB supports the DMC11 Synchronous Communications Interface.
- ERRORS
The following are the generic types of errors that will be reported for
both tests:
* RUN BIT DOES NOT SET AFTER MASTER CLEAR
* RDYI DOES NOT SET AFTER REQUESTING PORT
* RDYI DOES NOT CLEAR AFTER CLEARING RQI
* RDYO DOES NOT SET
* INCORRECT TRANSMIT/RECEIVE BA/CC RETURNED FROM DMC
* DATA ERRORS ON TRANSFER
- EVENT
This program implements no special EVENT FLAGS.
- QUICK
