- HELP
EVDAD is a level 3, functional level diagnostic for the DZS11-EA
Statistical Multiplexor (M7190). It thoroughly tests the operation
of the device in a loopback maintenance environment.
The program runs with the H883 Test Connector inserted into J1 (the
composite port socket) of the M7190 and with the M7190 Maintenance
Switch set to the 'RUN" position.
- DEVICE
EVDAD tests the DZS11-EA option. The DZS11-EA (M7190) Statistical
Multiplexer connects to one or two VT1XX-Ea or VT1XX-EB remote
statistical multiplexers enabling from one to eight remote terminals
to share a common composite asynchronous communications link.
This composite link conforms to the X.25 Level 2 communications
protocol.
- ATTACH
The following is an example of how to attach a DZS11-EA to the VAX
under test:
*** NOTE! *** The operator should reference the Diagnostic Supervisor's
"HELP ATTACH" command to obtain the proper attach
command for the VAX Unibus Adapter being used.

- SECTIONS
There are no separate sections other than DEFAULT in EVDAD.
- EVENT-FLAGS
Event flags are not used by this diagnostic.
- QUICK
The QUICK feature is not implemented in this diagnostic. The diagnostic
execution time is approximately 2 minutes for an error free pass.
- SUMMARY
The SUMMARY section is not implemented by this diagnostic.
- MANUAL
There is no manual section in this diagnostic.
- REQUIREMENTS
- HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
The cluster must be known good prior to running this diagnostic
and the DZS11-EA under test must be set up in the following way:
Insert the H883 Test Connector into J1 (the composite port socket) of
the M7190 and with the M7190 Maintenance Switch set to the 'RUN"
position.
- SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
Diagnostic Supervisor version 6.5 or higher.
