- HELP
EVCKB is the second of six Repair Level Diagnostics for the
CIBCI (BI to CI adapter). It is comprised of twenty seven - tests.
To run EVCKB, boot in the VAX 8200/8300, 8800
compatible Diagnostic Supervisor. (For VAX 8200/8300
EBSAA and for VAX 8800 EZSAA)
Each time information is desired on keywords
it is necessary to type HELP EVCKB 'keyword'.
- ATTACH
BI Node Number: [hex 0-F] determined by address plug on BAC
BR Level: [4-7] fixed at 4
CI Node Number: [dec 0-255] switch select on Link Bd
Example: For VAX 8200/8300

- SECTIONS
Sections names have been generated for tests that test
common hardware and/or similar functions. The user can run
any individual section by typing START/SECTION:SECTION NAME
The following sections are available in EVCKB:
REGISTER - CNFGR, PMCSR,MADR,MDATR Registers
LS_VCDT - Local Store/VCDT Tests
CONTROL_STORE - Control Store Tests
IB_SRC_DST - Bus IB Source and Dest Tests
- WCS
Provisions exist in the program to allow testing of CS Ram
size of 2k or 3k. The program default condition is for 2k
of CS Ram. If 3k of CS Ram exits the user should Set Event
Flag #5 before starting the program. This action will load
new values into the initialization code to test the following
tests for 3K of CS ram:
Control Store - Read/Write Ram Test (EVCKB)
Control Store - Dual Address Test (EVCKB)
- 911 Sequencer UPC + 1 Test (EVCKC)
To set Event Flag 5, type 'SET EVENT 5'.
To clear Event Flag 5, type 'CLEAR EVENT 5'.
- EVENT_FLAGS
EVENT FLAG 5 is used to change the WCS tests for 3K.
To set Event Flag 5, type 'SET EVENT 5'.
To clear Event Flag 5, type 'CLEAR EVENT 5'.

- QUICK
The QUICK feature is not implemented in this diagnostic.
The diagnostic execution time for EVCKB is 2 minutes, 40 secs for
VAX 8800, 5 minutes 40 secs on VAX 8200/8300.
- SUMMARY
The Summary report gives an error count by test number. No report is
generated if there were no errors.
