DS> ATTACH
Device type? DWBUA
Device Link? HUB
Device Name? DWn ! where n = 0 to 3
BI Node Number (HEX)? n ! where n = 0 to F
BR? 4
Example:
DS> ATT DWBUA HUB DWn Node 4 ! attaches the DWBUA
Optional devices. (required for tests 31 and 32)
DS> ATT UBE DWn UBE0 770000 510 ! attaches the first UBE
DS> ATT UBE DWn UBE1 770020 514 ! attaches the second UBE
DS> ATT UBE DWn UBE2 770040 520 ! attaches the third UBE
DS> ATT UBE DWn UBE3 770060 524 ! attaches the fourth UBE
UBE's are only required if tests 31 and 32 are to be run.
The diagnostic supports from 1 to 4 UBE's
Node: The node which the DWBUA is plugged into. This is determined by
a plug on the backplane.
- SECTION
Defines the diagnostic program sections (/SECTION qualifier on RUN or
START) which program supports.
- DEFAULT
Evoked by typing: ST <return>
RUN EVCBB <return>
Runs default tests (Test 1 - Test 30)
- UBE
Evoked by typing: ST/SEC:UBE
RUN EVCBB/SEC:UBE <return>
Runs the UBE tests only (Tests 31 and 32).
- HELP
EVCBB is a Level 3 Functional diagnostic for the VAX BI Unibus
Adapter. Of the 32 tests, tests 1-30 can be run by default, and only
require a UET as the terminator on the Unibus. Tests 31 and 32 require
from 1 to 4 UBE (Unibus Exerciser) modules to be attached on the Unibus.
These tests are involked by specifying the UBE section in the start or
run command.
- SELECT
SEL DWn ! selects the adapter to test
Optional devices. (required for tests 31 and 32)
SEL UBE0 ! Selects the first UBE
SEL UBE1 ! Selects the second UBE
SEL UBE2 ! Selects the third UBE
SEL UBE3 ! Selects the fourth UBE
