- HELP
EVAAB is a level II functional level diagnostic for the LXY 11/21
and LXY 12/22 line printers.
Help about general DIAGNOSTIC SUPERVISOR topics is available
via the standard "HELP" commands.
- DEVICE
The LXY series are line matrix printers that operate at 300 or
600 lines per minute. Print quality is acheived by overlapping
dots of uniform density (9 x 7) matrix.
Characters are printed in a line of up to 132 characters. Line
spacing of six or eight characters per inch is selected by the
operator or the program. The standard character set is 96
character ASCII. Optional character sets are stored in optional
PROM sets.

- SUMMARY
The Summary feature is not implemented in this diagnostic.
- ERRORS
During operation of the diagnostic the only errors
that are printed on the console are $QIO call failures.
If there are any failures of the LXY printer they must
be detected visually by the operator as he/she watches
the testing. For a list of the QIO errors enter:
HELP EVAAB ERROR TEST
During initialization several other errors are possible,
for a list of these errors enter:
HELP EVAAB ERROR INIT
- TEST
The following errors may occur at any point in the test.
The odd numbered errors may occur with any of the three
possible controllers. The even numbered errors will
only occur with the DZ11 Serial Line Controller.
ERROR NUMBER MESSAGE
1 System Error on Write to Printer Driver
2 System Error on Write to Terminal Driver
3 System Error on Write to Printer Driver
4 System Error on Write to Terminal Driver
5 System Error on Write to Printer Driver
6 System Error on Write to Terminal Driver
7 System Error on Write to Printer Driver
