Note: the information on this page is an OOC compilation. For
IC records, check with the other players. Some characters have
kept diaries. Some organizations also have records, for example
the Abbey Chronicles. Some of the events listed here may be
well known in the IC world. Please use some common sense in determining
if your character should know about something. Check with the
player in question if you are uncertain. (Assuming they are
still around.) Entries have been edited by Taisch. All dates are
RL, not MUSH time.
- 1-January-2000
- The University of Babylon opens, under the leadership of Claribel
Vidriani, President of the Infernal Solidarity League. Mirabella Bianci,
a former Lost Soul, appointed as a dean. Meanwhile, the fae necromancer
Damonias posts a flyer around the city suggesting that those like himself step
forth as deities, that everyone else choose him rather than the slavery
of being Blessed or Damned.
- 4-January-2000
- Search parties dispatched from the Abbey to find Klefkn.
- 5-January-2000
- Earth: violin-playing class offered at the University.
Hell: The Tomb of Duke Baphomet splits open. His assassin escapes
upwards through a hole in Hell's sky.
- 6-January-2000
- Rumor: Angels and Blessed mortals are changing into their own opposites,
though still of the same affiliation.
- 7-January-2000
- Earth: Isarael, the assassin who earlier escaped from Hell, materializes
in Market Square, where he is attacked by Citadel forces and dark-clad
'Templars' wielding blades. Lady Fehu forces him to flee to the bridge,
where she cleaves him with her metallic arm. He is cast into the Chasm.
Later: meteor shower strikes the city from above, shards of stone from
below. Stone envelops St.Brigid's chapel, raising a fortress: the New
Spire.
Hell: Something strikes the shore of the Lake of Fire, leaving a smoking
crater. The Lightbringer, Claribel, and the Infernal Archivist, Malenkost,
enter the crater, emerge with Duke Baphomet, who departs immediately for
Avernus. Later he formally announces his return.
- 9-January-2000
- Earth: "Adluo", former lady of the Citadel, accompanied by one called
David, is denied entrance to the Abbey.
Hell: Cho'Gall: The Creator (the Nameless) calls everyone to the Lake
of Fire.
- 10-January-2000
- The Citadel: a number of prisoners and Guards are executed on the rooftop
by a powerful, unnamed demon. Meanwhile, notices go up: personnel required
for the reconstruction of the city.
- 13-January-2000
- Cho'Gall holds a ceremony at the Lake of Fire, but it goes out of control.
Massive tremors shake the realm. Fire and burning spirits erupt from the
center of the Lake. Diviners whisper that 100,000 souls are missing.
- 15-January-2000
- The search for Klefkn ends in failure. They return with a man recovered
from under several feet of earth, but no angel.
Hell: Duke Baphomet appears, pronounces Lords Fehu and Cho'Gall to be promoted
to the rank of Baron.
- 16-January-2000
- Dorion Drago gives speech: New Deal promises housing and jobs. Tent
city set up north of St. Jude's Square.
- 17-January-2000
- The IBI and 83rd Legion cease hostilities towards the Citadel.
Message in the sky: Klefkn the Truthsayer has returned.
- 4-March-2000
- Laveau Investigations opens.
- 6-March-2000
- Hell: At the command of Lord Asmodeus, Nialus's encampment around the
Lake of Fire departs for the Wastelands. Rumor: Asmodeus' legions are
disbanding for good. Later: tremors, a wave of lava devastates the shore
of the Lake, only a few imps surviving. Claribel retrieves a lone, burnt
human from the wave. Later: a single column of flame erupts from the Lake,
accompanied by a scream.
- 14-March-2000
- Abbey: shaken by the tremors, a geyser opens up in the Cloisters,
shooting up blood, then vanishes, leaving permanent stains.
The angel Wrenchiel returns, as the Masked-Raver.
- 16-March-2000
- Minor earthquake shakes the city. At its epicenter, the Stone Tower
raised by the Blessed in the NE sector tilts, sinks into the ground.
- 19-March-2000
- The Seraph Vretil comes to earth, is confronted outside the Abbey by
Fehu and Baphomet, and annihilated.
- 21-March-2000
- Shack explodes on Cathedral Road.
- 22-March-2000
- Baroness Fehu and Duke Baphomet invade the Abbey, whose inhabitants
all rally to repel the intruders. Violence ensues. Self-proclaimed paladin
Matthew Slater leads novices against Baphomet. Lexus tends to the wounded.
The Elohim Zephiel duels with the Duke, but falls. Baphomet falls to
the other defenders. Fehu's body taken away.

- The Bank of Babylon re-opens, under the management of J. Tolbrook.
- 11-April-2000
- At the Abbey: the Elohim Zephiel announces that the Hashmallim Raguel
has placed the Abbey under a state of emergency.
- 12-April-2000
- Second proclamation by Rezaphazaal: Abbey personnel will not be sent
out to the plains to execute people. The Abbey will not become the Citadel.
- 29-April-2000
- Wade takes over the Boat Shop by the Sea.
- 2-June-2000
- Ball held at the Gallowglass Arms Ballroom, masquerade dress optional.
- 6-June-2000
- Ian Walker appointed Public Works Supervisor for the Department of Power
by the Bank.
- 11-June-2000
- Two of the winners, a woman named Tera and a small girl, of the Costume
Contest at the recent GA Ball, accompanied by GA owner Eleanor, use their
prize money to buy and free two slaves (rumored to be political prisoners).
University Book Drive: President Claribel Vidriani orders all books and
reference material in the Univ. available for copying, requests copies of
past literary works that others may have.

- Mysterious dark-robed stranger appears in Market Square, zombie in tow,
toys with Madeleine, then kills a bystander who comes too close.

- Shining silver message in the Abbey, calling for a meeting of the Blessed.
- 27-June-2000
- Earthquake swallows the Stone Fortress of the Blessed in the NE sector.
- 28-June-2000
- Flyers distributed: Cathedral active again under new management ---
Immanitas.
- 29-June-2000
- A fifty-foot dragon, reminiscent of Draken Slythe, appears in the
Northern sector of the city, captures, then releases, a human female.
Are the Spawn back?
- 23-July-2000
- Hell: Barons Cho'Gall return from a dive into the Lake of Fire
possessed by the spirit Baalan, a prophet and herald of the Morning-Star.
Khelkhet, the Dark Lady and Queen of the Spawn, agrees to aid Baalan in
his quest to defeat the Host. Lucius, commander of the 83rd, and the
reclusive 'Dark One', follow suit. Claribel confirms Baalan's identity
(at least his belief in it.)
Earth: message in blood on a wall: Join the Cause of Hell, contact the
demons. Serve us and we will give you power.
- 26-July-2000
- The Citadel's grip tightens, in response to the rumors out of Hell
of a united front and a coming battle. Recruiting drive.
- 27-July-2000
- The howls of the Spawn are heard at night. In Hell, they are seen
in greater numbers.
- 31-July-2000
- Hell: Rumor: Baalan is raising an army from the lost souls trapped in
the Lake of Fire.
